It should be, but many monarchies were based on a "god-given right to rule". Then there's the whole all-Popes-are-descended-from-St. Peter thing. The difference is that disbelieving either of these won't cost you your life. Saying that you disbelieve these things won't cost you your life, or endanger your family. Then, too, the headline says that obeying the President of Iran is the same thing as obeying Allah. This is true. Allah is not God.

Just what I was thinking! I've been humiliated more than once in my life, and I've yet to kill anyone (related to the incidents or not). As excuses go, "I've been/my religion has been/Allah has been/Muhammed has been humiliated are pretty lame. In order to feel humiliated, one must first have a notion of humility--What it is, and how it feels. Jihadists lack this sense.
