<quote> you will be banned faster than Richard Dawkins hides when asked about "evolution vs. God" or for scientific evidence for evolution.</quote>

Did you mean to say "scientific evidence for Darwinian evolution"? I think you are slipping, Ray.

I should point out that some atheists, including your "friend" PZ Myers, have called out Dawkins on this statement.

Dawkins has said stupid things in the past, and will continue to say stupid things. He is not the "Pope" of the atheist movement by any means. He is fallable. Like any person out there, he will say things that I agree with and things that I disagree with.

Chelcea is either a POE, or is Terry Burton.

Heaven forbid if she should ever procreate with Burton!

But didn't Ray state recently that God takes pleasure in bringing the wicked to justice?

Ray is like a defense lawyer, trying to poke holes in the prosecution's case. As more and more evidence is piled on, his attempts to cast doubt on the evidence becomes more and more desperate. Eventually, enough evidence piles up that the reasonable person will conclude the defendant is guilty; while Ray will stand up and claim that we cannot possibly know for certain what happened unless we have a time machine and can go back to the night in question.

The problem here is the question that Ray asks in the movie: give your single best piece of evidence supporting the theory of evolution. He then rejects out of hand anything that he is told. All those things that Steven J. talks about, like nested hierarchies and pseudogenes and the like - in and of themselves do not prove evolution. Added all together, however, and it becomes clear that evolution is a fact - even the so-called "Darwinian Evolution" that causes a change in "kind".

So, when Ray says that there is no evidence of evolution on the cutting room floor, he is probably being at least partly correct (by his twisted logic). There is no "magic bullet" from the experts that prove evolution. I suspect, however, that they do provide evidence that taken in whole makes it clear that the theory of evolution is the most reasonable explanation for the diversity of life on earth.

Instead of showing that, Ray (or his "editors") manipulate the film to hold the interviewees up to ridicule. It is not the case that the experts have no answers for Ray; but rather no answers that he likes.

Pam -

You can tell your daughter that there are many people who both accept the truth of evolution AND trust in Jesus. The two statements are not mutually exclusive.

Thanks for the movie, Ray.

I was just curious - any chance that you would post up links to the complete interviews with the atheist professors in the film? I'm sure that the complete interviews would just further prove that they are totally clueless about the evidence of evolution.

I look forward to seeing PZ Myers et al floundering about to your hard hitting questions.

The problem with your philosophy is not that murderers and rapists are punished, but rather that everyone who has not bought in to your belief system is punished. Many Christians, for instance, are not what you would consider "saved". They may attend church regularly, donate money to charity, say grace before meals and volunteer at the local soup kitchen but do not conform to your rigid code of acceptable conduct. I think of my good friends who are happily married and committed to each other. One of them is a lay pastor in his church, and they both are involved with outreach programs and volunteer at Inn from the Cold. They are also both men. Would you take pleasure in my friends suffering for eternity? I mean, they are unrepentant sinners and so they certainly deserve it...

The belief that Hitler will get the same eternal punishment as the vast majority of his victims is sickening.

Darwin died in 1882. Coke was invented in 1886. (Just sayin')

Each of us have our own perspective on politics, sports, music, foods, fashions and on religion. Who is to say which one of these things is right? We are individuals with differing opinions and thoughts about almost every issue. You are strong in yours, and you feel as you do because you belong to the evangelical Christian faction when it comes to the issue of God and His existence. You think that you are right, and that is your right as an individual. But that fact doesn't negate that you are a criminal in the eyes of Allah, and you desperately need a path to salvation. I say “desperately” because the Qur'an says that your ignorance is willful. You believe in the blasphemous concept of "the Trinity", which clearly goes against the teachings of Sura 4:171. But on Judgment Day no one will have any justification for being found guilty. You asked who is to say who is right and who is wrong. Allah gives the answer in the Qur'an, and as a Christian, as long as you deny both Allah and the suras you will remain ignorant of the truth. I’m sure from your perspective, you will think that I’m wrong.
