It is a nice thought, I don't see it happening. Optical HD media is losing to the world of digital HD media. And I love Blu-ray, but sadly, Steve Jobs does not. Apple finds emerging technologies to ride upwards, and expels those that are trending downwards ... flash, optical media. What's the market going to reflect in 18-24 months, Blu-ray or digital download? That's where Apple will be.

MyTown's 2 million users are concentrated *only* in the US; that's huge. Foursquare and Google Latitude are spread internationally. I cannot remember when anyone of my colleagues mentioned latitude or when I last used it. I love the mobile UI, I just haven't found any value for the service.
