The REAL Eugene!!!!! Wonder if 'whoever' had the story that Eugene was WONDERFUL for retirees knows the REAL story?? What a 'crock' that was. We live here and have for years. ( wish we had gotten out when we were able though) ! This is what Eugene is REALLY all about!! Sad!!

With all the push for 'green' I am asking (seriously ) what does the President plan to do at the White House and other Washington DC buildings to insure they are green. Do they only use recycled paper, etc. I really don't know and am asking this seriously and not with any sarcasm. Does anyone know?
Our short-sighted government LOCKED up our forests several years ago and you can't have a lumber industry with no forests! Wish we had congressman who understood economy.......We can thank them for being one of the 5 top unemployment states!!!! Could we have some congressman who understand that PLEASE?????
Well....Maybe an old dog CAN learn tricks ! Wasn't it Ms Mayor herself who drove most potential businesses away from Eugene?? Think so!!!! Me thinks Jim Torrey's STRONG voice ( echoing what MOST reasonable residents feel ) scared Ms Mayor a LOT !!!! HMmmmmmmm !
Raise your hand if you want infants chewing on lead-laden toys! Personally I am GRATEFUL this has come to light and HOPEFULLY the lead laden items will be removed by responsible business owners. An opportunity for a NEW business to 'rise from the ashes' of potential disaster and take over testing to help all!
Agree with Jason....We discontinued all TV at our house this year ! The media has gotten SO bad about everything...Accracy for instance...Here's a NEW'S FLASH for you.....Obama is NOT the first black man to be nominated for president...He is the first MIXED RACE man to be elected to the presidency...unless he has denied his white mother now...Just an example of the lack of truth in the media anymore......NOPE, we don't 'do' TV anymore at our house and we love it!
