HillBuzz.org : HillBuzz Open Thread: Monday February 6th, 2012

Remember this? Maxine starts at about the 2:00 mark. [youtube hxMInSfanqg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxMInSfanqg youtube] The entire video is very much worth watching. It defies logic that the Dems would place Waters head of the Financial Services Committee. Unfreaking believable.

Antiboohooma - what is the URL of the site you used to use? I usually use the RYO machines located around here but since WI is trying to shut them down, I want to have a backup source.

Big Hollywood : 'Flag Yourself!' Campaign (With Ann Coulter)

I've been "flagging" myself since the day the website was put up. Every. Single. Day. I forward the responses from my Senators, my Reps, my junk email, lefty websites, idiotic comments by libs, everything. Oh and don't foget those crappy emails that say "Forward to ten friends for good luck!!!!" Sure they probably have my email address in their junk folder by now, but who cares. It just feels damn good to do it. Next up, a video of my cat asking "Where's my Obamacare?". She has been complaining about her vet for years so I think it's safe to say she is onboard with having the government shove the thermometer up her tush instead.

Big Hollywood : Review: Star Trek

My husband and I just got done watching the movie (IMAX version though) and two things I will give you are the frantic pace of the shots and the romance between Spock and Uhara. I kept thinking I might be missing something with all the jittery camera shots and puh-leeze - the romance was unnecessary. But other than that, this film was amazing! We are going to see it again next weekend in the regular theater and we Never Ever do that! I cannot wait to see the followup to this movie - film or series? Anyone have any ideas?
