In 1933 the German Zionist Federation suggested a collaboration with the Third Reich in which the Zionists would identify and locate German Jews to be forced to migrate to Palestine if the Nazis would confiscate their wealth and transfer it to an account in a bank in Palestine. Credit in this account would be used to purchase German goods for use in Palestine. Hitler signed and by 1938, 60,000 German Jews had been relocated to Palestine and their confiscated wealth, $100 million -- almost $1.4 billion in 2001 dollars, provided for the purchase of needed equipment and supplies. This is well documented in "The Transfer Agreement: The Dramatic Story of the Pact Between the Third Reich and Jewish Palestine", an historic book written by Edwin Black, the son of Auschwitz "survivors".

Edwin Black's book confirmed much of Hennecke Kardel's 1974 book, "Adolf Hitler, Founder of Israel" and Hitler was offered the cooperation of the Zionist underground organization N.M.O
(National Military Organization, Irgun Tzwa'i Le'umi) Menachem Begin happened to belong to this group. Hitler accepted the offer and the visible result was the foundation of the Theresienstadt camp in the spring of 1941. In 1897 Theodore Herzl, founder of the Zionist movement, had written, "Zionism offered the world a welcome "final solution of the Jewish question." In early January 1941, Avraham Stern, leader of Lehi (Stern Gang) submitted a formal proposal to German diplomats in Beirut for a military-political alliance with wartime Germany. Zionists found common ground with the Third Reich sufficient to propose and enter into mutual agreements.

When the Kingdom of Israel was captured by Assyria in 721 BCE, they were dispersed through the Syrian landscape, but now the Jewish State of "Israel" has supported the murder of Semitic Syria. When the Kingdom of Judah was captured and its leaders taken to Babylon in 586 BCE, the people stayed on the land, they remained on the land through the Jewish Wars, the Greek and Roman conquests, the Ottoman Empire, changing their religion as the cultural landscape changed but always the same God. The non-Semitic usurpers are today the anti-Semites trying to steal the land from the original people who ARE Semites. The attack on Deir Yassin was anti-Semitic and so are the attacks on Gaza and West Bank.

The gas Israel has discovered offshore in its sovereign territory is certainly the property of the State of Israel. The gas discovered offshore from Gaza is Palestinian sovereign territory...and as the good book says,, "Thou shalt not steal." Capiche? To be a true People of the Covenant it is necessary that justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream (Amos 5:24)

Did we hear your voice then? Well, I didn't, but you're right, not all Jews are the same as Peres, Netanyahu, Liberman, Bennett, etc. There were, after all, Rabin and Sharon, of all people, that made such risky statements.

Rabin's bodyguard behind him stepped aside at the right moment to clear the target. The assassin had been an asset of Shin Beth, who got him through security to the location above the kill zone.

Sharon had a "stroke" so instead of using the helicopter always at the ready, they took him to emergency at hospital by car...at rush hour...the most circuitous route. When they finally reached the hospital he was given the wrong medication and he went into a nearly 8 year coma. When he died he was buried in a special cemetery separate from all other Prime Ministers, in a newly designated "National Park" fashioned from a former landfill for garbage. The metaphor is not entirely obscure to many, surely made it clear that anyone who chooses peace might be treated similarly. Perhaps without the Pulsa DiNura in their case.

I can understand why you and others didn't rise to the occasion to challenge Peres at the time...or since. Perhaps you are now a supporter of Open Hillel?

Israel is expected to follow international law and end the occupation of the land of another people. The right of return is a well established principle that Israel has refused to honor. Genocide and ethnic cleansing are war crimes and crimes against humanity. Israel boarded the Gaza Freedom Flotilla in international waters and executed nine of the passengers. Israel has stolen the rights to the gas deposits in Gazan territory offshore and illegally sold them on the international market. Israel attacks and attacks again and again, breaking cease fires, illegally arrests and detains Palestinians of all ages and holds them without due process and habeas corpus. Perhaps you haven't heard or you preferred to not listen.

That's great! Unfortunately, Ted Koppel didn't and no other Jewish voices were raised then or since. You see, my reply was a challenge I would hope could be heard. Perhaps you would mention this challenge to those many others...you know, take it on as your pledge to truly be a beacon of ethics and morality in the world. Theodore Herzl would be relieved that it is actually possible.

The UN did not vote to partition Palestine...the General Assembly did that. Then they intentionally avoided sending it to the Security Council knowing full well that it would not pass a Security Council that was already embroiled in discussions questioning the authority of the UN to do such an illegitimate action. At a time when decolonization of the world by recognizing the right of self-determination of a people such a partition would be an insult to the UN's own charter. Anything that comes out of the General Assembly has no force and effect until it is ratified by the Security Council. The UN did NOT vote to partition, a resolution recommending that was passed after threats of economic warfare and armtwisting.

Ted Koppel is Jewish! Why would he all of a sudden side with Palestinian freedom and self-determination?

Claiming POW detention camp instead of a forced labor camp is hardly "debunking". But he did provide a useful link to more information that does not support his thesis.
