Yeah. They would be a lot more brutal. Like this maybe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9p12QP_-RM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZMHhuWACME&NR... http://www.philipweiss.org/mondoweiss/2009/06/ano... http://www.nearinternational.org/alert-detail.asp...

Mondoweiss : Tell YouTube to stop censoring videos about Israel

So civil wars are not wars then? It's not I who is full of it, either legally or morally. While Israel was fighting Jordan and and Egypt in 1967, it is not occupying either of those places. It is occupying Palestine. Military occupations are an act of war. While Israel may have been attacking Jordanian and Egyptian forces in 1967, it established a military occupation of Palestinian land which continues to this day. This is an act of war against the Palestinians.

The occupation is the initial act of war against the Palestinians (since the Nakba, which was also an act of war). All else follows that. So whatever the Palestinians do to resist the occupation is not an act of war itself, but a defense against an ongoing act of war against them by the government of Israel. The blockade is one aspect of the occupation, but the occupation in all of it's aspects is the original and ongoing act of war.

Several times, my posts that were in response to other posts have disappeared, but then reappeared later on. I think it might be a glitch in the comments section itself, independently of anything the moderators do here. I've even seen strings of responses disappear only to reappear again later. And yesterday or the day before, where it shows the number of responses below a comment, below one particular comment, it said that there were several billion responses. So I wouldn't assume that just because you can't find some of your comments, that means they were deleted. They might just be in whatever weird limbo comments sometimes go into from time to time.

I've been trying to bring the plight of the Palestinian Christians to the attention of my fundamentalist Christian relatives (and other fundamentalist Christians of my acquaintance), and they don't ever acknowledge what I've said. They just ignore it.

I have relatives who are fundamentalist evangelicals, and they are not only silent about Israel's crimes, they appear to actively support them. To some extent, they are not aware of what's really happening, because they've been brainwashed about the Middle East by their pastors, and/or by the books they read about the end times (and also the complicit US media), but if I try to tell them, they don't want to believe me (or they just block it out), because their belief is that the Jews are God's chosen people, that Christians have an obligation to protect Israel, and I suspect (although they have not said this) that they also believe that Muslims are doing the work of the devil. The reason I say that is because, although I'm not Muslim, I'm also not Christian, and they think I'm doing the work of the devil. I find that Christians of the more fundamentalist mindset don't have much compassion for people whom they believe are doing the work of the devil.

The Israelis tricked the Jews of Yemen into agreeing to be airlifted by using biblical imagery on their planes and in the name they gave to their program. There are still Jews in Yemen, who don't want to leave. Once in Israel, many of the Yemenite Jews had their children stolen from them by the Israeli government, and these children were sold to Jewish families in the United States to help raise money for Israel. The parents of these children were told that their children had died. http://www.geocities.com/stop_abuse.geo/ym.htm The Jews of those countries were definitely not rescued by Israel. Most of them, prior to the troubles Israel caused in their home countries, would not have ever considered leaving their home countries where they were treated much better than they were when they got to Israel. This is documented fact. Iraq is one of the countries where the Israelis committed terrorist attacks against Jews in order to make them believe they were not safe in that country. The government of Iraq had to let them go, or be faced with the possibility of more terrorist attacks. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emq94B17zXo" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emq94B17zXo <a href="http://www.ameu.org/uploads/vol31_issue2_1998.pdf" target="_blank">http://www.ameu.org/uploads/vol31_issue2_1998.pdf

When I read that he had spoken at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee’s convention, I had some trouble believing that his attitude had substantially changed from the quite racist one he displayed towards the Palestinians during his presidency and after. I see now that my skepticism was justified.

I don't know what the term "self-talk" is supposed to mean. The reality is that they were doing just fine until the Israelis started making trouble for them in their home countries using various methods, including acts of terrorism. It was only after the Israelis did these things that they left their home countries. As I said, the Ashkenazim needed a source of cheap labor to do the kind of menial jobs they didn't want to do themselves, but they also didn't want Palestinians doing. And the Jews from those countries were treated horribly when they got to Israel. This is all documented fact.

Where is the independent state of the Roma? What about their right to self-determination? What about the genocide of the Roma in the Holocaust? They have suffered as much persecution as Jews, and more, since they still don't have a country of their own. Which indigenous population should we displace in order to create an independent country for them?

They can't possibly have initiated a war that has been ongoing since before Israel became a state, when Israel ethnically cleansed the majority of Palestinians from their homes and land. They are under occupation. Israel's occupation of Palestinians' land is an ongoing act of war that was initiated by Israel. When Hamas fires rockets, they are the ones in the defensive position.

Not lies at all. Arafat wanted the negotiations to continue, but Barak withdrew from the negotiations to campaign in the upcoming elections. He lost, and the new prime minister never participated in the negotiations that Barak had left. Arafat was still there, ready to negotiate, and Israel walked away.

I'm aware that the Israelis did everything they could to force Jews in other countries to leave their countries of origin and emigrate to Israel, including committing acts of terrorism in those countries. The government of Israel wanted those particular Jews to use as cheap labor in jobs that they didn't want non-Jews to hold. The Jews who left those countries and moved to Israel were also horribly discriminated against by the Ashkenazim once they got to Israel.

A population redistribution that was forced on the Palestinians by the Israelis, against the Palestinians' will. Sounds like a Nakba to me. The Israelis drove out hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, killing many in the process, and brought in hundreds of thousands of Jews to steal their homes and possessions. That's not just a Nakba, its ethnic cleansing and genocide.

What the Palestinians want is freedom, and they appear to be willing to have it either in the form of a state of their own, or in the form of a unified state of all its citizens. Freedom is one thing that has never been offered to them. All they've been offered so far is bondage and further ethnic cleansing.
