The reason Frandsen is on the Red Sox is because he is good friends with Pedroia. Frandsen works out with Pedroia and Ethier during the offseason. Like Youkilis, Hermida will get squeezed as far as playing time for 2 years. But in 2012 Hermida fights for the LF job with Kalish AKA (Trot Nixon ver 2.0). Kalish wins the Job.
