They will not be using VAC. The game uses Infinity Ward's proprietary engine. VAC only runs on GoldSrc, Source, and Unreal Engine 2. In the mean time, you have higher pings, less choice, smaller games, more disruption in game (since people can grief without fear of being immediately kicked and/or banned) and the only customization that is possible is whatever Activision decides is okay. Also, stop complaining, especially when your argument is speculative (or, actually, not at all going to happen) instead of factual.

I guess, but most of their titles still aren't that good. Rock Band is still better than Guitar Hero in most ways that matter, Skate seems more fun than the Tony Hawk series (which has long needed an overhaul), and as I mentioned, if you talk about PC FPS games, any of Activision's titles would be lucky to crack the top 10.

By the sounds of it, it wasn't enough of a fine since she has announced that she will continue to spread her message wherever she can. I've heard rumblings regarding the honesty of just about every aspect of her life, and while I don't know the truth either way, I can say that at the very least, her incompetence should not be in doubt. But as I commented, I hope she keeps the tinfoil hat on for a long time to come. Gamers know what came of Jack Thompson's non-stop crusade of ignorance against video games and the people who play them. All that having been said, I could easily see her landing a job on Fox News: as you said, she definitely seems to fit the bill.

To be honest, I couldn't agree more. It seems that more and more, the party is playing host to people like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. As it is, Republicans generally watch Fox News and almost nothing else. Unfortunately for the party, as more and more stories come out about the dishonest actions and "reports" of Fox News, all it's going to do is alienate more and more centrists and moderate conservatives. As much of a failure as Reaganomics truly was, for the Republican party to come back to being anything other than the increasingly shrill and rabid abomination it's becoming, they'd do well to ditch the conspiracy theories and the theocracy in favor of something a little more to the center.

Well, if you believe a website that compiles statistics on this sort of thing... CHRISTLER is the #64992 most common last name 0.0005% of last names in the US are CHRISTLER. Around 1250 people have CHRISTLER as a last name! I can tell you that no one I personally know that has my last name has a first name that starts with a B. I also don't know of any relatives who live in your state. I can assure you, though, that I am indeed who I claim to be.

Every couple of months, my brain chemistry alters or something and I obsessively play the game for at least the next couple of weeks. It's not every day that something like that happens to me. I finally got the expansion not too long ago and it's like everything is new again...it's just too bad that I don't like a lot of the new factions.

I've read The Lowest Animal, although not in a while. At the moment, my interest in it lies solely in what I quoted. Based on what I quoted, I feel Twain is absolutely correct. Part of the purpose of religion is to "fix". We want to fix the unknown. How'd we get here? There's an answer. Why are we here? There's an answer. What happens when we die? You guessed it: religion has an answer. The problem with all of this is that humanity does not need fixing. Humanity needs to know. I don't believe that we are broken. It's true that we have a need to make some semblance of order from what's around us, but the best way to do that is to understand. People are told to love thy neighbor, but they do not. Even more "tolerant" or "liberal" religions basically subscribe to "separate but equal": love them, but they are not us. How many people have died in the name of religion? I imagine that the number is incalculable. That is not supposed to be the intent of religion, but it is often the result. I even quoted a relevant Bible passage in an earlier Thought: “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who teaches my hands to wage war, and my fingers to do battle.” - Psalms 144:1 Jesus teaches you to kill? Doesn't sound very...pleasant?...to me. That is all I was trying to say in my quotation.
