Why was my original post deleted, KATU? Do you subscribe to the same parochial "multiculturalism" that Oaks Apartment management does? I'll say it again: If you come to this county and find yourself offended by the American flag, one of the most readily identifiable and accepted icons of our national identity, then GET OUT. Go back where you came from. We won't shed a tear. I will not remove the flag of my birth country because you find it offensive. Tell me, do you find the flying of the Mexican flag ABOVE the American flag by Mexican nationals on American soil acceptable? This is ridiculous. Multiculturalism is merely a euphemism for intolerance. If this post is deleted a second time, I will raise the issue with KATU's management.

I'm revisiting this topic. I am so incensed by this, I am taking my own American flag from where I usually have it stored and flying it from my house, today and every day thereafter (I usually fly it only on holidays). Thank God I live in a single family home where myopic and self-serving "multiculturals" cannot tell me what to do. To the residents of the Oaks Apartments: band together; retain the services of a lawyer and file a lawsuit. Bring this to the attention of the Albany Chamber of Commerce. Hell, go to Salem and elevate this to the Governor's office. Such "multiculturalism" should not be allowed to stand.
