There's been a whole lot of closing down and parting ways in the past few years, but allegedly the guys at Dracco have it under control, according to the interviews. Who exactly is going to animate the show is still not clear, sadly. As for the similarities to the old style... Who knows. I'm ready to see a total overhaul, personally.

As it stands, Filly Royale and Filly Princess are two separate toylines. Continuity-wise, Royale will most likely just replace Princess altogether, and I welcome it, because currently Princess is too primordial and out of place with the other, more modern Filly toylines. I also expect them to pull the same thing with Fairy. Otherwise, I think Princess will remain as a toyline to be bought in stores.

The show was officially announced after the pony premiere, but the toys have been there for nearly 10 years. We're waiting for the show to come out, and meanwhile we report on anything new we find, as well as write about news in depth, when possible.
