Nobody forces you to listen to the song as far as I know. And a very very large portion of pony fandom loves Dr. Who aswell so there's nothing wrong with EQD posting a single non-pony post in the entirety of ever, especially when most people visiting the site will enjoy it aswell and the artist is a semi-famous brony too since this will support him.

Well, at least we'll have HD versions of the video. We could probably use that with the audio from some of the cinema recordings in english to get rather good results.

The show has close to no success with the german audience. The dub is pretty horrible (and generic, for that matter) and the toys are also not a huge succes and in some cases pretty hard to find. In fact, in my whole town there's only 1 shop that has a few blind bags every now and then.

Honestly, bad character design or not, the writing can't be THAT bad. It's still the same team that works on the show and the characters are (for the most part) the same. It's just like Hasrbo gave DHX very worn-down cornerstones to build a mansion with and my guess is that, in that comparison, they'd still manage to build a nice, big house albeit not as amazing as the requested mansion.

TL;DR Bad design choices on Hasbro's part =/= bad writing and pacing on DHX's part

Black-green explosion with a huge beam of green light while the one effected is ebnt into all the directions possible like in pain? Now where have we seen THAT before, I wonder.

For everyone not catching my drift, Chrysalis took over the form of Sunset Shimmer/was Sunset Shimmer all along and stole the crown to start a reign of her own in another dimension but gets revealed later on in that giant pillar of light. Calling it right now.
