This is exactly why the Department of Education must be abolished. Home is the first school. Parents are the first teachers. We must get control of the education of each community's children back to the local community and state where parents, grandparents and others can have direct involvement in the curriculum, etc. The Department of Education is nothing more than an indoctrination tool of the left, great for the union, terrible for the kids.

I hate Obamacare. I despise the debt created by Pelosi, Reid and all those that went along with the passage of a bill they did not even bother to read let alone comprehend. But I am disturbed by the last shot of this video wherein the young man says, "I'm tired of writing blank checks from my generation to yours." Perhaps, if 'we the people' are not careful, Obama will achieve exactly what he desired if the generations turn against one another over money. The real enemy is not the older generation. The real enemy is the politicians who for years have been bribing all generations with money they, the politicians, first tax away from 'we the people'. All generations need to band together to fight the true enemies of personal freedom, personal responsibility and state sovereignty. The real enemy of all of us is the out-of-control, overbearing federal government. We must stand strong against the destruction of freedom and liberty for all.

At first she begins to make a case for loving someone so much that, IF there were nothing to be done to cease their suffering you would not want for them to continually suffer but I believe the piece she is missing is that she then is appointing herself judge and jury over the definition of "suffering" and totally eliminates God from the picture. She shows no faith in there being a power higher than herself to whom, in her child's hour of suffering, she could turn to and ask for a healing or the child's suffering to cease. Did Hitler think along these lines also? Frightening.

They are special - they are entitled to be irresponsible, self-centered and immature; to make messes and have others clean up after them. Kind of sounds like what Obama and crew are doing doesn't it? Absolutely! We the people must join together and demand from our Congressional representatives that the DOE be abolished. This nation will remain a republic only when we return the control of education back to the local school district boards and state legislators who are accessible to the taxpayers. America survived and even excelled in education for decades before the DOE was created in 1979 by Jimmy Carter and began operating in 1980. Our scores are far worse now than before the DOE was created. Abolish the DOE!

I agree with SP_Batman that it seems suspect that Bill Gates speaks in this trailer created by the director of "An Inconvenient Truth" HOWEVER I will not stop rallying for the National Department of Education to be ABOLISHED! Control of the education of our children MUST be returned to the local school district boards and legislators who we the people must hold accountable. Enough with having the schools hijacked by politicians and the students used for moral experiments. The teaching of morals belongs with the families not the schools. The teachers work for we the people; good ones will do well, the mediocre and poor ones must be culled out. Abolish the National Department of Education! Enough of Carter's payoff to the teachers' union.

President Carter created the National Department of Education to pay off the teachers' union for their support and role in electing him POTUS. If we want to see positive and lasting change in education we must demand that the National Department of Education be abolished. Control of the schools must be returned to the citizens of each school district that elect the local school board members and state legislators. Charter schools must have accountability directly to the citizens of the state from whom they derive much of their funding. No more control of local schools by the federal government who then use money to force liberal social agendas upon the children of "we the people".

I was but following the lead of Pam Geller on the video, aiming to show respect to Geert Wilders. Thanks too for the service of you and your husband. My FiL was USAFin WWII and Korea with 50 successful missions. He's now 86. He has, however, mellowed a bit more over the years than the spunky B17Engr. ; D He has been honored to have a native Dutchman accompany him on a trip to Europe and take him to their cemeteries for the US Service men and women. He was very touched.
