There is not a problem with nuclear waste, the government spent billions to create Yucca Mountain to keep us safe. Oh, I am sorry, Obama closed it down, guess you have to keep it in your back yard and Yucca can become a tourist site.

And a pit bull attacked the Police Dog in Des Moines area. Good thing we have the new permit to carry law so the individual was able to save the day and shoot bad dog.

She was doing her job in "self-sufficiency". She was helping him with target practice so he can be self-sufficient hunting for his food in downtown Iowa City. And if he can't bring down the big game he needs to be self-sufficient, I guess he can always try at "the stop and rob" and get money that way so he is less dependent on the taxpayers.

Maybe the kids would not have a weight problem if they could just bring "Dodge Ball" back. No fat kids in my school or you got beaned with the ball. Ever since the liberals outlawed "Dodge Ball" in the schools the kids have just gotten fatter.

Meanwhile, Obama's drilling ban was determined illegal and most recently the Court in LA found him in contempt of Court by keeping the ban in place. People don't want us dependent on foreign oil, but when the President does not let you drill for your own, where else are you going to get it. By the way, you need oil to make the plastic for the electric cars also.

Public and private unions added together only are 12% of total work force. Glad to see the Dems are willing to make sure that small amount of population continues to stick it to the rest of us that have to pay for them. Of course look how much money goes directly from unions to support Dem candidates.

Except for the fact it was telephonic and some people that have cell phones do not answer numbers they do not recognize others with caller ID will not answer phone calls from numbers they do not recognize so it limits you to people that don't have a life and desperate to talk to anyone that calls them.

Maybe he is just not happy with the furnishings in the Iowa Prison and wants to see if he gets a better view at the Federal Prison. I am sure he has seen the nice digs for those that broke the law by not paying taxes like Charlie Rangle and our Turbo Tax Timmy. Oh, Tom Dashel got a nice place for failing to pay his taxes too. Poor Wesley Snipes should have gotten elected.

Since they are banning guns in "public" buildings, does that mean the Section 8 people can't have guns? The public pays for their "public housing", one could argue that therefore the ban applies. Good luck getting the guns in SE Iowa City from the crack homes that we pay for.
