I think on a real life day to day that an 80/20 Paleo is more realistic but I'm just doing a jumpstart because I was stuck on my weight loss. As far as Atkins, I recall doing that about 8 years ago and while I had some results at the time OMG it was so grossly unhealthy, I remember eating a baggie of bacon on my way to work. Paleo at least is more balanced and I do think there's a science to the balancing of good carbs and protein.... anyhow, I was up over 200 and I'm at 172 this a.m. so I'm a happy clam for now but can't wait to lose 12 more and then just maintaing with cocktails back in the plan!
