KATU - Portland, OR : Flying bullets keep rescuers from pulling teen from fiery crash | KATU.com - Breaking News, Sports,

Yes the article does say "appears", but as the school was notified today, the tests came back as negative for alcohol. This article was written before any test results could have possibly been conducted. So just because the police had suspicion, doesn't mean it's true. If we all went on suspicion, then people we hate would be in jail for murdering someone because we had "suspicion" that he did it, even if there was no scientific evidence.

I know that KATU stated that he was drinking, but they said this before toxicology reports came back. Those results said that he didn't have any alcohol in his system, so this wasn't a typical drinking and driving case, although I do respect your opinion.

I respect your statement that drinking and driving is a bad choice, but in this scenario, he wasn't drinking and driving, as toxicology results have stated.

Also toxicology results state that he didn't have alcohol in his blood system, so this wasn't a contributing factor.

Well he wasn't even drinking, according to toxicology test results, so alcohol wasn't a factor in his crash. Also there's no proof he was speeding. There's a high chance that a deer went in front of him unexpectedly, and he slammed on his brakes, there was loose gravel in the area, so there's a good chance he lost control upon hitting that area of gravel. I do understand though that most people seem to have a misconception that a majority of teenagers are stupid and don't know what they're doing, so I'll respect your opinion even though I think it's wrong.

Maybe the people they interviewed didn't know him as well as they'd like to think. Also the area he crashed in was a common deer crossing area, maybe a deer jumped in front of him and he slammed on his brakes. Even at a respectable speed such as 30 his tires could've caught on loose gravel causing him to crash. Also for those who think he was drinking, toxicology reports came back stating that he DID NOT have any alcohol in his blood system. So next time try not to assume that he was drinking before there are any proven facts. Thank you.

It was early in the morning, he was going to a friend's, maybe he was planning on target shooting after doing stuff at his friends so he had ammo in his truck.

Well I live in Yamhill and Brady is in my class, so I feel as though I know more than you or the news, and the police and the local newspaper said that the police had SUSPICION that he was drinking. Just because it's a crash involving a teenager, alcohol is automatically assumed to be a factor in the crash. Due to living right near him and knowing his family well, he was actually up early to go to a friend's to work on his senior project that needed to be done in order to graduate, therefore wasn't doing anything wrong!

Wow, not all teenagers think they know it all, same goes for adults. You didn't even know Brady, so maybe you shouldn't make assumptions that he's a "typical" teenager
