Any of the LEGO licensed video games, on any platform are fun adventure-y games, which include:Batman, Batman 2:DC Super Heroes, Harry Potter Years 1-4, Harry Potter Years 5-7, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars: Complete Saga, and Star Wars II: Original Trilogy.

Yeah, I have no idea how to pitch these, but they're lots of fun (the Harry Potter ones are so much better than any of the actual Harry Potter games). Lots of things to to/collect that keep them from being too "kiddie" game, plus weird LEGO jokes. I've never played through one all the way through, but I have played a number of them at various points in the game, and they all pretty much play the same, it's just a choice of fandom and platform...

Though you might want to wait until the Lord of the Rings one comes out, just because...

MARK! Did you see the Caveat on the copyright page?!? Because it pretty much is the best way to start the book and if you missed it...well, then I am sad.

So, this episode...I can't not laugh at it. When it aired my grandparents and uncle were still living out near LA, while my more immediate family had moved near Chicago, so time difference fun!

Anyways, for my dad and myself, it was the end of the episode. We were crying. We knew Buffy was continuing, but at the time our town didn't have the channel it was moving to, making it really feel like the ending for us.

My grandmother called (she doesn't watch Buffy), wanting to talk to my dad. My mom told her he couldn't talk, as he was crying because Buffy died. My grandmother replied very loudly, "Buffy died?"

At which point we could hear yelling on the other side of the phoneline...my uncle was freaking out. Spoilers forever. It was the Qhzoyrqber Qvrf of our family, and continues to be a joke.

(As a side note, so many people in our town had been watching Buffy that the cable company got the rights to the new channel ONLY when Buffy was on...like, the commercials were black screens and the channel was just color bars any other time. It was weird, but amazing.)

I should mention if I had the money, she'd be a companion to my Dream Manga statue, which a friend gave me as a present a number of years back. (Spoiler image of him here.)

Yes, there is a Death Manga statue, but she's....weird looking. Like, really weird looking. Bug eyed, noodle armed, head twice as big as her waist thing (not spoilery).

So, I know Death's not in this issue, but...but....Mattel is making this for the 2012 Comic-Con:

I want it...I won't get one, because even if someone buys a few with the intent of selling, the mark up will be huge and I don't have the money. OH WELL IT'S PRETTY AND I'M SHARING!

So....I have a friend who sits and watches and analyzes porn...for fun.

She's of the opinion most of the one called "XXX Parody" generally actually know the content it's parodying, compared to slapping a porno together.

I don't know if she's seen "Twinklight", BUT she has watched "This Isn't Twilight: The XXX Parody".....which she says frame for frame recreates scenes from the movie.

Scott Pilgrim is Scott Pilgrim. I liked them. I have friends who did and friends who didn't. I will say I liked the comic's ending better.

I keep meaning to read Bones....
