The Seinfeld one isn't really that accurate. For most of those episodes, the only reference is a superman magnet on the fridge, or an action figure that's on a shelf, and I think George may have had a poster in his bedroom too. They don't talk about Superman at all, just pan the camera past them as part of the normal shooting of an episode. That's hilarious. Reminds me of a story from my school days years ago. We were working on our C++ projects, and when one of my friends looked away, I inserted a line to have it run the command "net send * I eat poop", which would have all the computers on the network display a popup message stating "I eat poop". It was right in the middle of the screen, so I was hoping that he would see it, he didn't though, so he compiled the program. I quickly stopped him from running it, since the IT was already pretty pissed at our class, he laughed, but my other friend then reached over and hit run. He didn't realize that the program was already compiled, and was expecting to get an error that he needed to compile first. Instead, every computer on the network got the popup... Every computer. In every building, in each campus, got this message. We had to explain to them why the Dean was calling in from another city to ask why his computer suffers from coprophagia...

I'm all for some government subsidization of education. Just like any investment though, they need to look at the ROI. What types of education will benefit the country. Will that History of Chilean Dance degree actually help out the economy, will you be advancing any scientific research, or will you be a barista at the local starbucks? We still need Baristas, so here's a couple hundred I guess... Some one else goes for a hard science degree, maybe wants to get their doctorate in nuclear physics, sure, lets give this guy some money. He's actually set to do some good for the country.

if only it weren't faked. Look at the gun, it's a hose and a barrel. There is no action, nor magazine, it doesn't fire real bullets if it fires anything at all. Airsoft or paintballs, maybe but actual bullets, never. It's a commercial for the new Call of Duty game that is coming up, so I'm guessing that a bit of CGI was used in the making of this promotion.

I'm pretty sure that at least one of the Columbine shooters smoked pot and even had plants growing in their room. It's kind of hard to find an article stating as such since any search about marijuana is coming up with a bunch of stoners talking about taking back 4/20, and a bunch of depressed people wondering why pot smoking is overshadowing such a tragedy...
