Any fool with a remote understanding of American politics knows a silent coup occurred when dickie cheney annointed himself vice president and the first 6 years of the bush presidency were driven by cheney's slavish devotion to the project for a new american century (the paradox being "the Reagan years taught us deficits don't matter dickie" destroyed the country's prosperity in under a decade)...georgie would have done well to not wait until the last two years of his presidency (i.e. refusing to attack Iran, not pardoning scootie libby, etc.) to ignore the advice of evil uncle dickie
