I\\\'m sure some clever guy can come up with a way for a keyword - say \\\"popcorn\\\" to initiate a script that sends a message to an \\\"aroma capsule\\\" on the side of your PC that than emits the appropriate smell. Have to be careful with \\\"horseshoes\\\" though!! :)

Hey Matt, like the look you've created at your site. I'm not sure what this issue is but I see you're using Mandigo version 1.24 and I have version 1.40 now so it's difficult to backtest. Although I'd recommend updating to the latest version I wouldn't do that until you have a reliable way of keeping your customisation - don't want to run the risk of losing it. Can you let me know exactly what you've done prior to getting this error message and I'll see what I can do to help Wizzer

Hi Bonnie, I think you should get your blog started first. Then do a full article that you post on the blog and a slightly altered version (perhaps less complete leaving some things out - a teaser if you like) and submit that as part of your article marketing plam. The article will have your Bio Box at the bottom telling people to come to your blog for more. That way you are using the articles to best effect and getting what you need - visitors to your site. Now you need to keep them there, get them to come back & be in a position to contact them yourself. So set up an Opt-In with some sort of free gift as the enticement for doing so. Hi Terri I\\\'m really glad i\\\'m not alone on this. You are so right - the demands on my time and for my attention are massive too. I seldom give out my mobile phone no because everybody then expects me to be available 24 hours a day. I even get chasers when I haven\\\'t called back within 1/2 hour! Love your analogy - I\\\'ve long thought that many, many marketers see their customers as just numbers on a list - their personal mealtickets. Very similar to some employers and their employees. Hi Mark As you already have your site set up and the domain name is close I\\\'d build your categories and posts around it. The domain name hellps if it contains your main keywords but it\\\'s not essential. By the way - be careful when using the link to your blog. I couldn\\\'t find it at first as the link you posted showed a 404 error. It tuirns out to be because the folder into which you installed the blog has a capital \\\"B\\\" and you need to use this - ie http://www.natuaralleanbody.com/Blog

Hi David In my opinion there\\\'s far too much huff and puff on the internet - marketers spouting on about customer service and maintaining relationships with their \\\"lists\\\" but they see that only as a means of selling more stuff. There\\\'s absolutely nothing wrtong with marketing but I think it\\\'s imperative that you really care about your subscribers and customers and provide them with what they need. They are not just a meal ticket as so many online seem to think. Terms like - my list, newbies etc all just go to prove how personal some people get with their customers :)

I use both Comment Luv and Intense Debate and found your blog as Andy suggested taking a look at this post as a great example of the integration. I like it! The only problem I've seen is the Intense Debate treatment of HTML in posts doesn't always show correctly. I've had instances of keyword links (something I allow for my regular visitors) showing up as the actual html Great looking blog by the way - especially like the left sidebar.

I agree - I think sometimes that big companies get caught up in their own importance and put things out without always thinking through the implications. As you say though - push the boundaries.

Thanks for your input Brian. I think the real issue is - control. Being able to monitor the comments is one thing but I can already feel my blood pressure rising if that's all I can do and I have a whole layer of extra work and bureaucracy to go through to get unwanted comments deleted

Do you know I'm still amazed at the way some people treat the internet! If you were at a meeting would you spout some rubbish and expect to get respect, a sensisble response and/or start a long term relationship? Of course not. But for some reason people think it's acceptable to do just that on the internet and then wonder why they don't get results! Very good explanation of syndication here but also a great pointer on the way to "behave" on the net - if you want to get results that is :)
