I work 60+ at a office job and don't even make $34k a year. I pay an arm and leg for insurance and don't have anything for retirement. I have been looking for a new job but with the way the economy is most places are either on hire freeze or don't have the money to pay a big salary. Boeing employee's are some of the MOST compensated people in the state. My mom (a single parent) works for Boeing and ALWAYS managed to keep food on the table and gave me a great education.
