" impossible job - namely a pain-free Brexit"

Whoops. Turns out it was totally possible.

You're twenty-five years too late. It's signing the Maastricht treaty without the consent of the British people that's caused the "pain", and got the Tories into trouble.

this must include dates, not just vague pledges
And, just so we can be sure she's not lying again, she has to repeat the date in the House of Commons one hundred and eight times.

The hysterical catastrophising of environmentalists isn't "science", it's politics.

Sinn Fein/IRA aren't going to start killing over customs declarations. They've already ruled it out.

If they did return to violence, the correct thing to do would be to defeat them again, not give in to terrorist threats.

This one is a particularly misguided tactic.

I can think of few things more likely to increase support for leaving the EU even higher than telling the nation that the IRA is holding a gun to our heads to make us stay.

Yes, that's what a lot of Tories appear to be doing - including Miss Widdecombe. That's the point of the article we're commenting under.

It's the inevitable outcome of May's long war on "the nasty party".

No conservative is now represented by the Conservative party.

After reading Gove's grovelling words to the teen model fronting the "global warming" campaign, it's seems clear the Conservative party doesn't deserve to come back while it's endorsing and enacting leftism.

Toxic - yet somehow, they still managed to put her cadaverish face front-and-centre in the election broadcast.

Tories are not competent.
