We have to drill, mine and harvest our resources and have jobs actually making things again. Sarah Palin advocates using our resources and her obvious love of the environment puts her in the best position to advocate growth and protection at the same time. Environmentalism should mean good stewardship of resources actively used, not making the whole nation into a national park with "don't touch" signs on everything. If Governor Palin served out her term, she would be pretty much unable to significantly participate in the midterm battle that is brewing. This is critical for the Republican party which needs to regain focus and take back at least some of the house. If Palin can make a difference and lead the party to victory, then she clearly becomes the leader for 2012. She can pull 20,000 to a Frontier Day parade in Auburn, Mitt Romney with Jeb Bush as a backup singer can draw dozens to a pizza parlor with free pizza. This is the moment she can make a difference.
