Am I the first one to realize that this is technically a prequel to Desperado? Wasn't Danny Trejo a knife-throwing badass mexican in that film? Anybody wanna bet we will see Antonio Banderas appear somewhere in this film?

/Film : Question: Which Videogames Are The Most Cinematic?

River City Ransom ...and no I'm not being a smart-ass. That game plays out like a really campy, saturday morning cartoon style show about highschool and gangs. Kind of how i picture an animated, gritty, Saved By The Bell atmosphere in Japan where Zack's girlfriend gets kidnapped and he has to learn a bunch of "super-moves" to save the day. Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past As a sucker for time-travel movies, I just could never get the storyline from this one out of my head. Just like Back to the Future and Donnie Darko have stuck with me over the years, so has this game. The way that everything pans out for the hero makes for a wonderfully cinematic experience that overcomes its 16-bit nature and really shines as an achievement in "crossing that Uncanny Valley," as Dave so succinctly put it. Also, awesome score. As with any great film, a great score really adds to my enjoyment.

wow, lot of hate! I personally am THRILLED to hear this news. I had a great time watching Funhouse and Cabin Fever, and I think the style of one mixed with the setting of the other will work out really well.. This sounds awesome... Sign me up

Hayter, sorry to say it, but stick to MGS. I really did not appreciate what happened to the Graphic Novel in the movie. The film felt like a shell of what the novel put out there. Waiting patiently for a 5+ hour cut.
