This 11 year that would be offended has some major issues and his parents are to blame and maybe his teacher too. Wouldn't be the teachers job to help the 11 year old classmate not be offended by our flag? If he is offended by this, he is going to have a hard time in life.

Kinda off topic but I am an adult and I have to wear a helmet at a public skateboard park but don't have to wear one to ride a motorcycle going 55 mph on the highway. Doesn't sound right does it? Minors are another story.
