In the past, I know the dev team didn't want to release any preleases/RC's because so many people would have trouble with it and mess things up, that you didn't want to have to offer support for it. I'm respecting the fact you want to wait, so good luck on the search for a new exploit. :) But heres my idea: can't you utilize the already-found exploit to install a custom firmware? In which case, couldn't that firmware contain that patched kernel necessary to the redsn0w patch?
