Vocal Adrenaline's pandering to the Tea Partier would have been funnier if the Tea Partier had been portrayed as a recognizable human being. The number came off as a wink to people who know Christians and Tea Partiers, but Griffin's one-note act utterly spoiled the gag. Speaking of "gag," that's what Griffin evokes in me. The saddest part was Griffin's unspoken attempt to do a Sarah Palin thing with the red dress and big hair. She only managed to look like a desperate old hag in a red doggie bag.
