I didn't mean to knock Bots, and if I did so I apologize. He's a really good writer, and clearly a selfless organizer. But on material such as executions he/whomever should write 2-3 funny paragraphs that ban the offender, praise him, and offer the right of return if he behaves. Then give him all the details in a private message. Doing so would have avoided most of the hoo-hah and preemptively taken the wind out of the sails of those who felt that the execution was a tad rough.

Lawson excels at writing the 2-3 paragraphs I suggested. That's why I dropped his name. He has a lyrical style that works perfectly in circumstances like that. But don't put the pressure on him of being the best writer on the planet. Not all his at-bats result in base hits, a shortcoming no doubt devolving from his upbringing in Boston.

Looking at my profile page I see that I've made 60 comments in the week or 10 days I've been here. I just reread them. The last two were negative. That means I'm negative one out of every thirty times I open my mouth, according to you.

For some reason family and friends can't connect with, I'm not into phones. This is odd because I give good phone, do interview with (I'm a reporter) over the phone, and a landline works fine for me. I could care less about the capabilities of various cell phones. But my wife adores her iPhone 4 and reads everything about it. My work and much of my play is online, and the lack of Flash on the iPad really pisses me off. I can't open most of YouTube. I have a Touch to stick in my pocket and get online with at the market, but its the same deal.

I love my iPad and CT displays quite well on it. But the other place ... I made the mistake of clicking the "mobile" option and now can't get back. All I see is a list of heds ... no way to undo what you did and go back to seeing the whole G package, frames and all. I stare at black type on a white background. It's like DOS is back.
