The FAA Follies : You Don't Deserve This

"The 2006 NATCA contract is still in effect." The arbitrator's award stated - Whatever else may be said of the White Book document, it is neither a “Collective Bargaining Agreement” nor an “Agreement.” How can the FAA still call it a contract?

The FAA Follies : Screw You- We Got Ours

I've got over 2,500 hours as cic since the white book started, and we were only allowed 1 person on leave a day for bidding. They also included our 12 trainees, (about 8 of them don't count for staffing) in the bid process tying up days. I still love my job, but I hate my employer.

If management and staff people had their pay frozen when ours was, there would be a lot less to bitch about.

"now we've got morons like Ducharme getting named VPs of whatever he's the VP of (they reorganize so often I can't keep up with the new titles.)" How much money does it cost the taxpayers every time these idiots rename or reorganize? We had "chiefs" now we have "managers", we were "fpl's" now we are "cpc's", "trainee's" are now "developmental's", "supes" are "flm's"...can you imagine how many orders and pubs needed to be rewritten for each of those changes? Why did we need those changes? Come up with a new acronym and you can spend the next 5 years getting it in the books, talk about job security.
