http://www.conservativehome.com/ : Adam Honeysett-Watts: The next leader must be able to tell the Tory story

You state that “other things” are more important than Brexit. But in saying that you demonstrate your ignorance of what matters to people outside the Westminster bubble. Especially to most Conservatives Brexit is a distraction ?? No . Controlling your own country and being a sovereign nation state is fundamental to Everything and is the foundation before anything else. Things like patriotism, democracy, common sense and love of country. This is the future of Conservatism. Not more Cameroon Richmond type liberal madness

This is so funny you have to laugh !! (Sad for the innocent councillors now who lost their position of course) This was so predictable Brexit Party will soon clean up also in the Euro elections. I’m probably going to sign up and join them as a member. The Tories imo are betraying Brexit. T May is an utterly hopeless leader. This has been clear since GE 2017. The Tory MPs and Remoaners who kept her in place are more to blame due to inaction

We should of sent the DUP to negotiate Brexit. I have nothing but respect for the way they have gone about this whole process. May choose to have her cheese eating surrender monkeys for civil servants try and agree Brexit. Even after blowing a 20 point GE lead. Pathetic!

Great article by historian David Starkey in the Mail on Sunday https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6818107/... Conservatives actually want an authentic Conservative leader putting forward common sense policies. Not these fake Conservatives like Boles droning on about ridiculous left wing obsessions like Gay Marriage and Foreign Aid More Free Speech Less Political Correctness More Free Trade (Not Aid) Less Regulation Less Politicians elected and unelected in our lives (including scrapping the Lords and the unelected judges and NGO`s) Less Immigration Less Taxes More Law and Order More Patriotism and less foreign wars More Defence and Money to service to our Veterans More capitalism for the small NOT globalism for the rich The next Tory leader need only put forward policies around these fundamental Conservatives principles. You cant out Corbyn Corbyn. Only a strong Conservative can beat Corbyn.

Its actually fairly simple logic for the Brexiteers. Vote for this deal they don't like. Or they will get a super soft Brexit or maybe even No Brexit at all. The HOC is not going to allow a no deal.

The current front bench are too old and tainted and need to be shunted into the sidings while letting the new stock take over. Mercer Rabb etc heaven help us even Mogg are all interesting to listen too and actually want to change the country with policy unlike the walking disasters May, Williamson or Failing Grayling. To win the next GE you need to show up Corbyn as the old dinosaur he is and you can only do that if you have a better vision for the country. Javid and Gove are the only two people who seem to be doing anything.

I am not laughing at them but at the politicians who fail to see this is the result of what happens when you try to accommodate minority groups without integrating properly or mixing together. These Muslim parents sound outraged. There has been no effort to integrate these communities and parts of Birmingham and other cities into British culture which includes more tolerance of LGBT and other groups.

No thanks. Without being able to legally leave the back stop there is no Brexit. Its BRINO. MPs the EU etc can try and stop but only in the short term. Conservative blockers can and will be deselected. This is leading to a purge our Parliament and party sorely needed. We may soon have a true Right Wing major party to vote for as well as a Left Wing major party. With the Tiggers and other defectors holding the centre. Sounds like at the next election voters will actually have a choice to shape the country in a GE for the first time since Maggie and Foot.
