Actually, active duty people don't pay enrollment fees in Tricare. However, military retirees do and I think that population is the target of this initiative. However, from my own very recent experience as an active duty Air Force officer I can tell you that Tricare is cutting back on the medical care it supplies to active duty members and their dependents. I recently had to open congressional inquiry to get Tricare to approve a medical procedure for my daughter who has cerebral palsy. It was the first time I had ever received a denial for medical treatment for one of my dependents during my 26 years of military service. Now I'm getting ready to retire and getting nervous. I mean, if this is the kind of crappy treatment my family is getting while I'm still active, what will it be like when I retire?

I think the point that conservatives are trying to make is that there is an incredible double standard when it comes to media coverage of the OWS people and the Tea Parties. The Tea Parties were accused of inciting violence and racism and yet there were no documented cases of either at the Tea Party events. By contrast, there are hundreds of well-documented cases of racism, anti-Semitism, violence, rape, theft, public defecation, etc. at the OWS events (BTW, what is it about your own feces that fascinates you libs so much?) And yet all that stuff got almost no coverage whatsoever. That's all we're saying.
