Somebody should have asked a question?

The dissenting judge in the Iowa vs Seymour case got it right when he said that the red light camera ticketing process goes against the purpose of the Iowa Code and the Iowa Department of Transportation intent. That intent is to record and take note of driving violations so that the State can deal with drivers that are habitual violators.

Red light tickets are not reported to the State Department of Transportation and it is beyond reason why they are not.

A lot of considerations were taken out of the Seymour case for reasons that should be investigated.

Where is equal protection under the law happening when some motor traffic violations are reported to the Iowa Department of Transportation and some are not ... it doesn't make legal sense.

And then what about Due Process when in some cases there was no intent and just natural human error with no harm, no foul and one can't even remember making the normal driving error or when they made it. Now people are being ticketed for normal human error when there is no harm.

Sure, some drivers are terrible and take chances, but do good drivers have to be ticketed too, just to catch the bad ones.

The Cedar Rapids City Council and the Police Department went too far on this one and crossed the line as to what is a good, moral and ethical law. A good law must be universal in its definition and intent and equal in its application.

It is always amazing that the project cost is always compared to other states and their similar project costs and since Iowa's cost is lower that makes the project okay ... what a strange way to rationalize old, outdated building renovation costs. Maybe a more modern, technologically adaptable, including future technologies, type building would make a lot more sense. A building that was more energy efficient like the state government wants everybody else to live and work in.

He was just charged, not arrested. Someone, who was jealous of his recent promotion could have planted the controlled substance.

It is legalizing Biblical Sins and because of this, God may take even more of His Blessings away from the once "Great State of Iowa!"

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The only thing that will bring calamity to America is Sin; everything else is politics as usual when we could be working together as fellow Americans!

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
