It's interesting that the Press Conference contains a spokesperson for a DV shelter, but nobody for a dead man that can no longer speak for himself. 1. She left him once before, yet CHOSE to return. This is important as it proves she was not too scared to leave. 2. She was charged with a public disturbance for the destruction of property at that address and was issued a restraining order to stay away form him. Nowhere were the words "domestic violence" used. Had the genders been reversed, it would have been called domestic violence. 3. She CHOSE to come back to him. She then CHOSE to kill him instead of leaving again. Sadly, this is all too common in today's family and domestic violence courts where these kind of accusations are handed out like candy. Women (and men) have learned to use them as weapons with no fear of perjury, as you can CLEARLY see from the Duke LaCrosse case. I hold the gender-feminists personally responsible for creating such an environment in these courts, replete with false and misleading statistics. One of the worse statistics floated out there is the statement of: "Domestic Violence is the leading cause of injury to women between the ages of 15-54." You can find it in the SAFE Act (HR739) and on EDVP's website. They know it's false, yet refuse to take it down. The truth is that DV isn't even in the top 20 causes of what they claim. President Obama has an executive directive out there to all department heads stating that there should be good basis in the science for bills, and is a good start to put an end to the junk science that drives the DV Industry. This must end.

Thanks. I just simply think that government has gone too far, especially the DSHS. Having dealt with them firsthand and watching the defensive posture that they take in most instances, it fires me up a little bit. To be honest, many women are negatively impacted as well. My forte' is the DV Industry, which is extremely gender biased, hence you'll note my opinions along those lines. I tend to post that way to get people to think as the press tends to vilify men and give women a pass in many (but not all) situations. I'm even giving this woman a pass here as I firmly believe that it is a done deal. She won't want to go through this again. It's just common sense. No laws needed and we all learned at her expense. Tiger. Thanks for the apology. I accept. I am also way beyond angry. As an advocate, I'd like to challenge you to do battle with the DSHS sometime and watch how they use their loosely worded statutes to protect themselves moreso that the entities in which the spirit if these statutes were designed. It's a real pleasure and experience to see how those who are supposed to protect, only work to protect themselves. If I were angry, I'd be much worse. In fact, I'm used to such behavior and labels from those who simply don't understand the games that are being played out there. And, I pray that you and your friends never get tangled up with the nightmare of an agency in which they've become. Your kids are younger than those who were dropped off and I agree with your assessment. I also agree with the mothers assessment here to go around the block and snap them out of their controlling tactics. It just backfired. That's all. I'll bet anything that she was so freaked out that it'll never happen again. That's all one can really ask for. Anything else would just make money for all of the judges, liars, experts, and BS treatment centers that exist for their pocket book first. If you only knew what actually passes as state certified treatment, you would be horrified. And, their complaint process falls on those who can suppress it. It gets ugly, and I can see why Pam Roach is seeking to break up the DSHS. Being a liberal, I have changed some of my stances after realizing that these programs do more damage than good. But, they all make good money at it. This is the money that could be used to restore families. Instead, it is used to destroy them. The kids are only an afterthought.
