I call bullsh*t :) Thanks to Scott Gessler for doing the job he was elected to do and in spite of the skeery nonsense from Elena Nunez. If Gessler can flush out ONE voter not legally allowed to vote...he has possibly saved my vote and any other voter legally allowed to vote...from being cancelled out.

Dang. So much for hoping that just because the election is over, good decision making from those elected would not go out the window. Luckily for us, the mayor is just one vote among seven :)

In addition to those who were selected for last nights ad hoc housing task force, the new City Council will also be selecting residents to fill 47 vacancies on 21 different advisory boards. And among those who have applied for board positions are applicants who have no business being on city boards. Applicants who show poor judgement, are swayed by party politics, have demonstrated irrational behavior while making public statements before council about city business and should not be given consideration to represent ALL the citizens of Longmont in decision making at city board and committee meetings.

The city council would also do well in not appointing a recent PITBH speaker to a board appointment who ranted about Hitler at yesterdays council meeting.

Longmont Voter...why don't you just use your real handle: Moving Longmont Forward. Because the vitriol you are showing here has clearly outed you as the registered agent for the attack mailer that was put out against the mayor. Wear it proud sister! Why the hide behind your alias of "Longmont Voter" ?

VoteLongmont.org is not an attack blog. It was and still is a voter resource that the Times Call has even used in their voter guides for local elections. I've had responses from all sides of the political aisle that it was very helpful in this and former elections.

Good luck to you with that "Moving Longmont Forward" :)
