I raised three kids. Two are engineers and one is a microbiologist. I have no complaint with the contribution public schools made to their progress on the three R’s. However, my adult progeny are mind-numbed, Obama voting, Gore worshiping, depressed, liberal zombies. They were brainwashed so effectively they may never recover. If you have kids in public schools, get them out! Public schooling is child abuse.

Note to John Nolte: I saw A Perfect Getaway last night. I do not find a review here at Big Hollywood. (Spoiler Alert!!!) The movie was good but not great. It kept me interested and moved right along, but the key thing, the thing that allowed me to leave the theater with a giant grin, (spoiler, spoiler, spoiler) was that hero was an Iraq War Vet. He called himself an American Jedi and he lived up to his own billing. I could not believe it!!!!

O'Reilly and Savage are two peas in a pod. They agree on every issue including their mutual distaste for each other. Neither has any understanding of economics (a couple of angry socialists 'looking out for the folks'). Savage has the advantage of being much more intelligent than O'Reilly. O'Reilly has the advantage of being able to suffer fools without foaming at the mouth (unless its a mega-fool like Barney Frank). I like them both.

In 1964 I was a freshman in high school. It was a ‘tradition’ that incoming male freshman ‘volunteer’ to paint the ‘K’ on the hill. For ‘volunteering’ you were awarded a beanie cap. The cap might prevent you from losing your pants in the hallway, or having your head put in a toilet or….. On Saturday the ‘volunteers’ showed up on the hill. The senior class showed up to ‘supervise.’ We were ordered to haul giant rocks back up the hill and place them on the K. While we toiled the seniors berated us. Several kids collapsed from heat exhaustion. No beanie for that qu….r! I had a bolder dropped on my hand when a senior pushed one of my contemporaries that was toting a rock. The skin on my index finger never really healed from that. The kid that dropped the rock cut his lip and chipped a tooth when his head hit the rock that hit my hand. The terrorists got off easy.

I used to work for Hewlett-Packard (two of the nicest, friendliest, smartest, most charitable people ever to walk this planet). In the mid 1970’s, some company was in the press for making a ‘smart bomb sight.’ It was being used in Vietnam to make sure our ordinance fell on the bad guys instead of civilians. The left of course hated this evil capitalist imperialist tool. So they decided to bomb the company responsible for its creation. Since Hewlett-Packard had a big marketing campaign under way to introduce ‘smart oscilloscopes’ the leftist idiots got confused and decided to bomb HP. They set a bomb at HP’s Deer Creek facility on Page Mill Road in Palo Alto. It went off blowing a hole in a large nitrogen tank. The ultra-cold, inert liquid nitrogen flooded out of the tank and immediately doused any residual fire. Since they were too stupid to bomb the right company it followed that they were too stupid to know the difference between liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen. A large hydrogen tank was right beside the nitrogen and would have been spectacular had they targeted it.

At the moment the earth has about 600,000 sq killometers more ice than Al Gore and his cronies would say is 'average.'
