Excellent! Show your friends too, we need to present the truth to people so they can have an informed mind and then hopefully make thoughtful decisions that affect this country.

Also, this helped me understand how the left comes to a different conclusion when talking about freedom and liberty. Denis Prager is the one who does the explaining, he brings up many good ponits.

Here is a good youtube video on what makes The American Value System unique from any other country in the world. It also shows how to many Americans end up subscribing to the European system and not the American system of values. In particular, it provides a great explanation of the understanding of American Liberty vs. European Liberty. View it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn4IH3yng4k Let me know what you think.

If God is the goodness (in people) He would have to therefore be good, in essence its claiming the same thing. But I agree that no one knows with absolute certainty the truth about God, which would follow that you (for the sake of our discussion and not as an attack) don’t know with certainty either that you are right. It would make sense not to bicker as you pointed out earlier. I guess it just seems religious people get criticized for making absolute truth claims about God but at the same time the critics are making absolute truth claims about God as well (i.e. no one knows Him). It’s a two way street kind of thing. Religious vs. non religious (to generalize) both have the right to express what they believe and neither should be silenced but it would be wise for both to consider when and how they present their ideas. Anyway, thats been my thought while reading all these responses.

And how do you know that "goodness" in people that you see all the time is actually God? How do you know God is even good? I also see "goodness" in people but I also see "badness" in those same people at times...based on your reasoning it would then follow that the devil is the badness in all living beings as well. I think it's more reasonable based on "seeing" to conclude that goodness in people is just that....goodness...it may derive from God but to conclude it is God is a stretch unless you can show me otherwise.

Wow that was quite a debate. I did watch the show I don’t think Glenn intent to mock Christian’s beliefs, but localized it to the pandemic fear. I wasn’t offended to your degree. However it may have been thoughtless of him sure and intent doesn’t always excuse things. I believe he does have the actual right to do what he did but it may not have been prudent. But I don’t think we want to start the “public apology” game like the left does so often, when it comes to being offended. Then anyone can claim offense to anything and demand public apologies, it could then lead to offense by omission as well and apologizing would be like breathing. I don’t expect him to apologize to socialists or communist just because it’s their belief system. Also, by playing this game you may have to make a public apology to Christian amillenialists, for your “true Christian” remarks, who do not interpret the second coming the same. And we can play the “that’s your opinion” game all day long too. As Christians we need to be “slow to get angry” (James 1:19)

I agree, these men were not boring but it is made boring by how its taught...but its also hard to get younger people interested in it as a study because school in general is considered boring...not to mention all the other media/game type distractions, the adolescence factor and so on. Reflecting back, in high school, I don't remember my U.S. History class teaching half of the accounts in any sort of depth. I do remember my, vocally liberal, teacher pose a question to the class "Do you believe dropping the atom bomb (WWII) was moral?" and had the students divide up and debate it, which quickly turned into name calling...can't say I learned much about that area and think the question had a little spin to it.

Thanks shuntersmith...and thats great you mentioned "no pressure...to remain as a member" It's probably more desireable no one removes themselves but no one should withhold themself (from any of the 912 sits) of a fear of being rude or something.

Sorry TaraR, looks like when I typed in <a href="http://www.national912project.org" target="_blank">www.national912project.org I added a "?" at the end...maybe that screwed it up. Try this: <a href="http://www.thenational912project.org/" target="_blank">http://www.thenational912project.org/ If it still doesn't work type it in manually...or maybe your computer is bugged by National Security..you wouldn't be a conservative by any chance would you..
