Disqus is weird and I already dislike it. Is there any way to stop following other groups? I only plan to use it for EQD.

This reminds me so much of the old Mr.Poniator stuff.

I think they've found a good balance, though I'd personally like to see it just a smidge darker in terms of 'sometimes ponies just can't be saved' regarding redemptions, and maybe a tiny bit more actual peril in episodes that call for it. Sad/bad things having more of a lasting impact would be nice (I'm looking at you, Castle Sweet Castle and your lack of lasting feels regarding the Library). The comic series is superior in this regard because when it goes dark, it really goes dark.

But again, I feel like they've hit a really good balance with how they can treat things on the show, it's dark enough that we, the adult fans, can enjoy it and it doesn't lose the kid friendly feel.

As her show is not stopped by Twilight Sparkle or the Mane 6, Trixie's small stage show becomes a major hit in Ponyville, even moreso when the unicorn is forced to confront the Ursa Minor and come face to face with her full magic potential. After saving Ponyville in a display of magic and showmareship, Trixie continues out into the world, dazzling audiences from Applelossa to Manehattan. She becomes a world famous entertainer, eventually becoming the highest earning celebrimare in the world and is based out of Las Pegasis. Her name is a household name, and each of those homes has at least one of the many, many, many products with Trixie's name on it.. Eventually Trixie becomes so wealthy and so financially powerful that her corporate and media empire is able to sway world events and politicians to do her bidding, and eventually the Two Sisters are peacefully deposed as the rulers of Equestria, choosing peaceful exile in their old castle in Everfree to raise the sun and moon. With a combination of magic and technology Trixie finds a way to stall her aging process, and it is not long until her iron control of Equestria's media begins to shape the massive cult of personality into a full fledged religion.

The world of Equestrixia is united under the Greatest and Most Powerful Empress Trixie, blessed be her name.
