I still don't understand why a host has to be part of the "entertainment"--know what I mean? Why can't they just be charming and maybe have a few witty quips but not try to propagate their own political beliefs? Why do they have to be funny or mean? Better yet, why do we even have award shows? It's so stupid.

I've personally never understood the appeal of Woody Allen films. I never thought they were particularly funny or clever and he's always annoyed me onscreen. He's so overrated. Also, he's a total creeper.

I hope it does shed some light but believe me, as someone from that area, it doesn't even scratch the surface. I try to explain that to my in-laws who are from north Texas and they just don't believe it's as bad as I've told them. This stuff has been going on down there for a LONG time. I'm glad it's getting some spotlight now but this certainly isn't a new problem.

Right on. I'm from the Laredo area myself and you're right. I grew up in a small town where the population is almost 90% Hispanic Non-White so of course the majority of the people you will come in contact with, cops, teachers, nurses, WalMart employees, or whatever are of Mexican descent. It's just the way it is. If people who are offended by that would just visit the area, they'd understand. I'm white but even I know that's just the way it is. According to the 2010 census, only 3.4% of the population was Non-Hispanic White. And in a city of a little over 236,000, that's a very small amount. So, it's just the natural makeup of the city.

I agree with everything you said!! People know what's going on but no one talks. So very true.

"Triangle" and "The Unnatural" are two of my favorite episodes. Same for "How the Ghosts Stole Christmas" Love that show.
