I have a very liberal young friend who voted for Obama...the last two years he made record income and so did I...but I knew the Obama and Dem win meant they would do all the wrong things. So I went Galt....I took a job that is less taxing, less financially rewarding...but more stable and safe...and I told him to do the same. He thought and still thinks it is all Bush's fault like no one else worked in the govt for the last 16 years...sigh. He said tonight I should not blame the current Congress and Obama...it is all the fault of the previous president. Well he didn't listen and doesn't still...and he tried to stay in the old market as a contractor and has worked 7 weeks all year and is hurting...but he is still convinced they are right and I am wrong. Why can they not see the insanity going on...? <shaking head>

I will pass this on to my daytona beach group....however, I will be at the gun show in deland trying to make a few more converts....we are one ... remember...I have just begun to fight..and friends...I smell blood in the water. The numbers show it...the health care bill is losing support....Obama is losing support...the Congress is losing support....let's keep up the pressure, we are making a difference day by day.

I won't back down...you can stand me up at the gates of hell...but I won't back down. Oh, Johnny...even as an old man...you wrote a good song. We should march up to the capitol singing...I won't back down...I stand my ground...yeah Johnny. I have not had enough motivation to lose the weight I need to....today, I think I found it. I need to lose the weight because I want to be able to stand tall...all of my 5'3"...years. I will be at the 911 memorial at the pentagon...I hope you are all there with me. I am going to all the war memorials that day and leaving behind flowers for the good men and women who fought for our freedoms...and one stop I am making is at the grave of my uncle in Arlington...he rests just behind the unknowns in a very special space...and I am so proud his son Lt. Col. Paul Griffith...is going to be marrying my daughter. I am proud of every man and woman who ever served and many is the day I cursed the fear that held me back when the Marines came on campus and asked this math major to stand and be counted...maybe it is time to make up in some small way. I am reminded of Shakespeare...

courage brother you do not walk alone...we shall walk with you...and sing, your spirit home... I am listening to old favorites of Craven Spirit and a thought just popped into my head...they want to enslave us in socialism's chains...or at the least a fascist regime. We all know that the normal news media is not reporting the muslim terrorism conference in Chicago...this is all a theme...they will tolerate a totalitarian idea by our enemies...but not a message of liberty by God-fearing, generous Christians. So...perhaps we need to think of some symbols to carry on 912...to remind them who we are...I don't think that means tea bags. Part of me is tempted to ask a group to go to Disney and get plastic chains in the Pirates area...and join ourselves with the chains of oppression...but then, I don't believe that anyone should ever by word or deed show any acceptance of oppression. So tell me...what symbols...say, we are one...in our spirit, one in our belief in liberty and the greatness of America...I am thinking perhaps I am going to sew up a colonial dress for myself...and embody the spirit of 1776. But, I would love to hear from you.

Okay, this is an appeal from one concerned conservative to the rest of you. I want everyone who sees this...to get everyone they know, to wear black on the 4th in mourning and anger for the loss of our liberties, our rights, our voice in congress (deliberately little), worst of all the poor mangled, wounded and bleeding Constitution. I want everyone to express their outrage by wearing black whether you go to a tea party or not. I would love it if you would put a pin or something on that says...something about this anger. I am debating carrying a small casket for our country which they are killing...but for now I am thinking it is on life support and hanging in there...express your anger. If all of you spread the word to a dozen more...we can be millions strong in black...what do you say...does the idea sound good...if it does...join me!

I have proposed this to Glenn Beck and I guess I am one of thousands...but I have an idea. How many of us say...why are people not in the streets. Why is there apathy? I do think that people are so busy that many are not informing themselves and mainstream media is saying pay no attention to those crazy people over there. But, not everyone can go to a tea party or some other protest. So, I was thinking, how do we make a statement we are mad as heck, that we mourn our lost liberty, that we think they are out of control and shredding the Constitution...in a way that everyone who knows what is going on can see? On the fourth of July a lot will be wearing red, white, and blue. I have nothing against a flag pin, scarf, hat, or tie. But how about we show our anger and our mourning for this country's loss...by wearing black and limiting our red, white, and blue to a few small symbols. Those in black will be able to see others who share their dismay ...just a silent statement of our concern. If by some chance, we got millions and millions to do it...Think of the statement that would make ...I am curious how others feel.

I am feeling so frustrated tonight. I have tried hard to lead. I am not a leader, but I put myself out there to create a local group and work hard to maintain the meetup.com site and work on flyers and get business cards to help us spread the word. I set up study groups and people say they are coming..but then don't. It is hard to keep up my spirits when it seems that no one cares we are rushing toward the cliff and about to fail as a country. I want to cry sometimes when I think how little people seem to even pay attention...or how even those who know this is wrong, don't seem to want to do anything. Our founders were giants compared to the men and women I see in government or in our political parties today...but we are dying by apathy...and Pravda is right...Capitalism is dying without a whimper.

we need them because unlike in the days of Jefferson...these men and women make the congress a lifetime job and the founding farmers thought it would be civilian statemens...go to congress...serve and go home. We cannot get them to go home and the electorate is too dang lazy to learn what is going on...or is too well bought by the desire for funds from the public treasury these politician promise. hmm...politician...snake in the grass...which is safer...I say the snake.

You need to list the ways in which Obama is dismantling the Constitution...there are many of them. Get a clear definition of socialism for her and point out the ways in which this is in sync with socialism and not the founding fathers...frankly it is very close to fascism. I would suggest you gift her with two or three books. One of my first suggestions is "Liberal Fascism"...which is a good read and really helped me see this is a long time coming. Two...a tiny book my Neil Boortz ..."The Terrible Truth About Liberals" is a great book...though I love his "Somebody's Gotta Say It" Then, I would say some books on history and the founding fathers. I am plodding through "The 5000 Year Leap"...sorry I am not a good reader. I have a great IQ and a large vocabulary...which comes from reading...but never learned to stop subvocalizing...groan...so I plod along at the speed I could read aloud.

I am working on this myself. I feel educating the public is key. ONe of the things I also want to do..is to print out single page "truth" sheets outlining the truth of some of the stuff they are doing...like "universal" healthcare is not only not going to be free...but it will mean the rationing of healthcare, particularly to the elderly. That is what has happened in our neighbors to the north and that is what Daschle esposes...and he is not alone. I think we need to have these so if you hear someone saying ...I am really waiting for X...you can say, do you want to know what they are really planning? But yes, we need a generic flyer for the 9.12 project. I am also planning some bumper stickers...does anyone know a site that is not overpriced?

I have been alone so many years...I suppose marriage would be insane for me now since both my ex-husbands from my youth...browbeat me daily. I suppose that is why I finally said...enough. So...here I am reading this and thinking...I liked your posts...but this rankles me a lot. Not sure that everyone wants this "election". I know I come here for ideas, links, suggestions, books to read, videos to view, alternative viewpoints....I don't come to be directed. I know Obama wants to be our leader, zieg heil....but that is one reason I cannot stand to listen to him...he is and has always been arrogant. I find Pelosi has the same problem.... so I don't listen to Queen Nancy or our sainted Messiah. Please...lets not make this site feel like that>>>ok?

I started reading these posts and slowly got angry. There is a great guy in my area who got things started in the Ormond area the night of Glenn's broadcast on the 912 project...and I was unable to go to the meeting...so I don't know who elected him. I guess maybe he was the person willing to do it. In reality, sometimes people are chosen by themselves because they are willing to do something. However, the problem I see with that...is what I see here...that by deciding what we need to do...you effectively cut off other ideas and you marginalize others who might be good allies or contributors. You might say...I have been an independent contractor for more than half my working career because I don't like being told what to do by someone that I don't feel has a superior idea....and even then I am not particularly thrilled. I love working in groups...as long as we are each shouldering a piece of the puzzle and enhancing each other...the minute someone elects themselves my boss...I feel uncomfortable. Why? Because the minute that happens no one cares about ideas outside what the "leader" thinks are cool.

You know one of the things....I am very interested in building is...Truth flyers... like everyone says.. oh Clinton left a surplus and Bush put us in this big debt...so Obama needs to spend like heck to get us out of it...what that... excuse me but the deficit has existed since 1791...and has...slowly but surely grown. To their credit...some presidents shrank the debt...woo hoo....but we have never had a "surplus". We have never had a year in the Clinton administration when the deficit went down... and doubling down or quadrupling down...isn't the answer to the problem. When you are in a hole...quit digging. The last thing you need is more shovels...yikes. I think someone needs to take every lie and expose it. Lies from both sides. Where are the conservatives? Why do the idiotic talking heads think that the Republicans need to be less conservative. They are already too dang liberal. Sigh.
