For anyone in the UK on O2 - I got a 99p Tesco pay as you go card last night, cut it down to fit my iPhone 4, called up Tesco Mobile and signed up for a 500 minute / unlimited texts / "unlimited" data (500 fair use, so not at all unlimited [marketing lies]) data plan for get this: £10 per month! Greedy O2 was charging me £60 a month (including insurance) for pretty much the same thing: 600 minutes / 750MB. So switching to Tesco keeps on the same network - O2 - but save £50 pounds a month! And the best part is: I DIDN'T HAVE TO UNLOCK the iPhone. I jailbroke it with limera1n on Saturday, but decided to just try the Tesco sim before a 4.1 unlock came out - and it works! I'm making calls and got data to check emails and web. So screw O2 - I've been with them for like 5 years and they show their loyalty by reducing my unlimited data to 750 sorry megabytes and charging me £60 for the pleasure.
