Sorry Illuminati, I guess I wasn't clear - they were protesting AGAINST Obama and his outrageous spending and blatant theft of our security, income, property, etc. If it was possible to push for an immediate re-call or impeachment I'd be all over it. In 2 months he's proven to be theeee worst President yet! That's a record.
A friend of mine lives in Madeira Beach, FL. She called me today to say that on one of the largest 6 lane intersections in the county there was a parking lot full of people demonstrating with signs, banners, bull horns, etc. The cars driving by were all honking. My friend was going to a shopping center 6 blocks away and she could hear the noise from there like she was standing on the corner with them!
Its starting, no doubt. Its great to see! The next few months should begin to get quite exciting!

Or do you honestly not see that this President is the worst we have ever had - and he's only into day 68 (? I think). He has spent more in that short 68 day time frame than all the other Presidents combined in 233 years! And you want him to be able to be voted in for, not just a 2nd term, but a 3rd? No. I have a hard time believing even YOU are that "out of it" and don't see what's happening to this country due to this man's inexperience, grandiose ideas, and clear stupidity in how to manage a country.

I don't "cry" or run when times get tough. Nor did I revert to name calling. I spoke of your point being expressed as moot & valueless, but nowhere did I lower myself to name calling. As for Mr. Beck, he isn't a "sissy boy who cowers & whimpers at the first sign of trouble" either. The higher probability is that he is far stronger than you. I repeat - you're Christian, I am not. Your beliefs are yours not mine and they hold no value to me. I respect your beliefs as yours, but you fail to be as fair to those who do not think or believe as you do. That is quite contrary to the words of the man you profess to follow.
There is a mass misconception that the U.S. Constitution has any verbage at all quoted from the Bible, or any other constitutions for that matter, namely a document called the "Iroquois Confederation". The majority of the Constitution was written by Gouverneur Morris of Pennsylvania after most of the details were already worked out by approximately 50 other men. So basically, the U.S. Constitution is original in context, nd the only reference to Jesus is in the date, "Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven".
Your beliefs and strong faith are quite evident, and that's a very good thing, but prostrating them incessantly is not the manner in which to "convert". Its called proselytizing and that's not a good thing. In fact, its quite an irritant for those who do not believe as you do. There are many people who believe in Deity/Creator/God/Goddess/Allah whatever name one wishes to refer to the Divine. Your constant harping regarding how others "should" believe is invasive and offensive. I have a very strong belief system of my own. My Path is different from yours. I do not, nor will I ever proselytize to try to convince someone so they will "convert" to my way of thinking or believing. In fact, that is the fastest way to push someone away, which I don't think is your intention.
That is strictly a Christian belief. There are many, many other religions and faiths and Paths which are just as true for their believers. It does not make them wrong, it makes it right for them. Your way is not their way and vice versa. Your Jesus taught tolerance but few Christian's follow that lesson, judging and condemning others whom they know nothing about regarding their belief systems. If you want to know how to bake bread you don't go to the mechanic. The same goes for religions. Don't condemn what you know nothing about. You study from and read the books of those who practice those beliefs, not so you can "convert", but so you have a broader point of view from which to speak. The condemnation and proselytizing are born out of fear of the unknown. There are many rich and interesting religions and other Paths out there. Christianity is only one of them.
Your statement, "Glen Beck claimed he was crying because he was "worried" about our Nation." was already answered by AndytheCrofter when he said previously, "Mr Beck is no soldier, but he is doing something that he feels very passionate about, and I can understand why he felt moved to tears.". Thus, it makes your argument a moot point and completely valueless.
