Agreed. I don't fear it. Fear is generated by the 'unknown'. Information = Knowledge. Knowledge banishes fear. I've been following this story since Friday. The thing I find most interesting is how fast the "towel" is being thrown in. Here's a quote from http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,517901,00.htm... Hmmmm, When I was contacted by the Census takers in the '90's the people were going door-to-door, they wore clearly marked picture identification badges on their person. The interview lasted about 20 minutes. I was renting the home I was living in and have since moved to another area. I called the persons supervisor to make sure she was on the up and up. In these times I always ask for identification even from door to door sales people. I'm not paranoid just careful. I would advise people to ask for ID when this type of situation occurs. I think that census reps. have to have the ID displayed like a badge. Don't be afraid to ask to call their supervisor to confirm ID. Write down their name and badge number if they refuse to let you call their supervisor, then call the local census bureau (usually found in the blue pages of your phone book), confirm that people were officially in your area on the day you were contacted, specifically the person that contacted you. /0
