That is not accurate. Michael Savage, true to form, has been defending these marines right out of the box. He has even proposed starting a defense fund should the need arise, as he has done in the past.

Big Peace : Did Chemical Blasts Bring Down The Twin Towers?

Well, I don't see it as a particularly reasonable hypothesis/theory. The only fact supporting it is the presence of unknown quantities of water and (possibly molten) aluminum in the buildings. There is absolutely no visual evidence that anything other than internal failure mechanisms caused the collapse. I have never perscribed to the idea that anything else was necessary to cause the collapse. The impact damage, heat weakened steel, and unique design were sufficient imo. In fact the troofer thermite theories are more reasonable than this, they don't required a large explosive force, but small shaped charges. An unfocused explosive mechanism that this article describes would require significant explosive force, which would most definately be visible somewhere and at some point. I would be more than happy to entertain any theories that fit in with the dearth of existing video footage. Internal failure are the only theories which pass the visual evidence test imo. Ironically my original post is also a question, just like the title of the article. Yet I get large negative ticks for asking a PERFECTLY REASONABLE question about a hypothesis/theory which has obvious shortcomings. It really doesn't give me much faith in America's future that asking reasonable questions (even if a bit sarcastically) on a website that I have great respect for triggers such a negative response. I know that's a bit dramatic, but seriously people... -43 for asking a freaking REASONABLE question? WTF

Big Peace : Did Chemical Blasts Bring Down The Twin Towers?

Are you reading the same story as me, the one towards the top of this page, which clearly references chemicals and violent explosions? I don't pretend to be a chemical engineer or anything but what is said in this story has almost nothing in common with your post. And there is no visual evidence (we are talking about one of if not the most documented events in history) of an explosion involving bright orange flame or otherwise. The 'simple physics of heated water expanding into water vapor' is most certainly not sufficient to cause collapse, at least not when the 'explosion' was not even large enough to even be seen visually from outside the building.

No, I'm not. I'm cool with the idea of a hypothesis. However when a hypothesis does not stand up to basic visual inspection it should be discarded. The only significant explosions involved in the collapse were the impacts and the resulting fuel explosions.

Instead of just negative ticking me how about someone show me the evidence of a massive chemical explosion bringing down the towers? There were cameras on those buildings from almost every angle. That's right, there is no visual evidence of an explosion, because there was no explosion. Crash damage combined with heat-weakened steel brought them down. And don't bring me the 'squibs', far to small to fit with this theory.

Breitbart.tv : Bush Greeted with Cheers, Applause at 9/11 Memorial

You are comparing Bush to Obama, of course he will look good. Obama makes Bush look like George Washington. George Washington makes Bush look like Obama. It's very simple to me. If you extrapolate Bush's 8 years out over the next 50, we would still be broke as a country, we would still be speaking spanish in our own country. The ticker on my post is up to -89 so far, I guess I picked a bad day and a bad thread to be critical of Bush, at least I hope so. If in our time, GWB is what passes for a great leader, where mere reasoned and reasonable criticism of his presidency is worthy of such negative response, then there is no hope for this country and God save us all. If so called conservatives, the supposedly principled people of America, can drop their principles so quickly in the name of politics and raise such a mediocre president in such high regard, then we have no hope. /curtain

Reality says so. No child left behind, Medicare Part D. There was a time, not so long ago, that conservatives wanted to make genuine change in our government, not increase the bloat and add to the debt. Reagan wanted to dismantle the Dept of Ed.. Bush expanded it. Fiscal conservatives want to pare down and clean up Medicare, Bush expanded it. Lets not forget history because we have a pan-Leninist in the white house now. And yes, Bush' difficulty in speaking was torturous to principled conservatives everywhere.

Ok, lets not deify GWB. He was a horrible President in many ways. Fiscally his policies laid the foundation for the Tea Party movement. He deserves respect for his handling of 9/11 certainly, and that is a fantastic letter penned by a different President which he read. Just because Obama sucks as horribly as he does, does not mean that Bush was great. It's not either/or.
