Big Journalism : The New York Times vs. The Truth

My letter to Kate "RaceBaiter" Zernike via the NYT e-mail a comment form.. Your recent article accusing Jason Mattera of using racial stereotypes is a joke. I have a degree in journalism from San Diego State University, and it's the writing and opinions of people like your baiting that are the reason I chose not to enter the field. I listened to the entire presentation of Mr. Mattera, and though off color, it was not racial. If you resemble any of his characterizations and feel your blood boiling, mention that. But hold the race card to yourself. The fact that anyone that says anything remotely bad about Obama and gets tagged with the race card is poor form, and you should retract your statement and apologize to Mr. Mattera. This is not a Democrat/Republican thing, this is a Socialism versus Conservatism thing.... Wake up to it.... All the best Scott Van Epps
