The hot tub scene is actually from another Eloisa James (Duchess in Love), which features almost the same plot, but with slightly different incidental details, and also in the Regency.

Just realized that she may possibly have read my comment!fic about her kicking Donald Trump off of Air Force One (in flight), and growling "get off my plane" dramatically after him. She may have paused for a small, satisfied smile.

It just occurred to me that Hillary Clinton may very well have seen my AU Air Force One comment!fic where I imagined her kicking Donald Trump out of Air Force One, with a growled "get off my plane." Hillary Clinton may have read that. And possibly allowed herself a small, triumphant smile.

A friend from church told me she didn't even read anything on the last day, because it would be too sad, so she didn't know that Hillary Clinton had written something. We had a Toast Wake right there, at coffee hour, and she now plans to read this post.
