Interesting, I hadn't heard about the Netflix version until now. The original cartoon was naturally a lot more simplistic, but even that show dropped frequent hints that Carmen was a much more complicated character than her surface appearance. So it's pleasing that the new series seems run with that.

Even though I've gotten used to a world where 11:00pm Central does not have a new Precocious comic waiting for me, I still miss, dare I call them the good old days. You deserved better, Chrispy, and I still hope against hope that it comes.

ETA: $2/mo seems puny but I suppose that's the most you feel comfortable asking for under the circumstances.

I'm gonna back this. It's clear Chrispy is well enough to type up a storm (which means, functionally, he's more capable of creating updates to this site than I am), but the outdated profiles on the character page have been a sore spot for quite a few years and this hiatus should be a great opportunity to correct that.

If nothing else it's something for him to do.

Ah, so that's what happened on Saturday to put me down for a couple of days, our secret deal must have transferred some of your pain to me.
