Breitbart.com : Obama: Professed 9/11 mastermind will be convicted

They will convict him, but anti-Americans abroad will now have more arguments to claim, that it was merely a "show trial"... Once again, our amateur-in-chief puts his feet into his mouth.

Single payer. Only way to go
Sure! Buy, with our single payer schools, highways, and postal service, you must be dizzy with success. Let's try it again -- it worked so well for everything else!
Just like schools, and roads, and parks, and highways.
Our schools, where we pay per-pupil at the top of the world, but have our schoolchildren lose to foreigners in every competition (except, maybe, in how to put on a condom). Or highways, where an average American spends a week per year sitting in traffic. Sure, the government healthcare will be just as splendid!

= Will they allow people coverage who have pre-existing conditions? "[Insurance] coverage for pre-existing conditions" is an oxymoron. Insurance is for things, that MIGHT happen. Once there is a condition, you are no longer talking about INSURANCE. You are talking about CHARITY. Americans are immensely charitable, but we don't like to do it at gunpoint (via IRS). = Will they allow a family of five who has lost their father [...] If the breadwinner didn't think about buying LIFE INSURANCE, then, again, you are asking for CHARITY for his kin. Not insurance... = [...] stay in their house after they have paid the $300,000 legal fees? If they win the lawsuit, the loser will cover their legal fees -- that's right there on the first page of EricBrodin's proposal above -- in addition to whatever reward they obtain.

= Waffen SS Of all SS-branches, Waffen SS (or "Armed SS") was the most benign -- it was, for most intents and purposes, regular army, not domestic enforcer of the Party. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waffen_SS In general, comparing Obama to Hitler is not called for (although Bush deserved it far less). Hitler's rabid racism was an aberration of Fascism -- an ideology, that's not in itself genocidal. Obama's policies are Socialist (or Fascist, which is not an opposite at all), but he is not a mass-murderer. See also "Godwin's Law". http://www.jargon.net/jargonfile/g/GodwinsLaw.htm...

Big Government : ACORN Video: Prostitution Scandal in Philadelphia, PA Part I

The Left are upset, that their own tactics was used against them... I understand -- they never wanted their opponents to use the liberties that a free society guarantees to ALL. From the writings of Nikolai Bukharin -- one of the main ideologues of Communism: "We see now that infringement of freedom is necessary with regard to the opponents of the revolution." and "We asked for freedom of the press, thought, and civil liberties in the past because we were in the opposition and needed these liberties to conquer. Now that we have conquered, there is no longer any need for such civil liberties."

Yes, life IS precious. But individual's time is not worthless either. One suicidal person's life may, indeed, be less important, than hours wasted by the TENS OF THOUSANDS drivers (as well as their passengers and people waiting for their cargo). Police ought to adjust their methods -- and, maybe, even let'em jump in certain cases. Just rename it "end of life counseling" and be done with it...

Breitbart.com : Report urges action to preserve journalism

Fox-owned news organizations seem to be doing just fine... Khmm... Actually, if Obama's "greens" had any decency, they would've been the first to argue for taxing daily newspapers out of existence -- the amount of trees cut to produce the rags, is obscene. If we are going to demand electronic record-keeping from the doctors (to make their services 1.1% cheaper), why shouldn't we encourage full migration to Internet-based news-delivery? The answer, of course, is that Obama OWES these people -- they helped get him elected... Expect a newspaper bailout. It is the least he can do.

Breitbart.com : Interracial couple denied marriage license in La.

I'm not talking about Obama or his own racism and race-baiting. My point was, mix-race children not only do get "accepted" by both white and black "societies", but can even do so well as to become President sometimes. The judge's concerns are thus invalid.

= Biological functionality does not automatically equal parental competence. It is a very dangerous thing to declare, that Government is more competent in child-rearing, than the parents. No -- only in certain cases, and only after the Government has proven in court, that a particular child is neglected, can they force him out of parents' care. My point was entirely different. Since the Government has a legitimate interest in welfare of the children, it MAY be reasonable for it to offer special recognition to couples rearing their (natural born or adopted) children -- regardless of whether these couples are "married" or not.
