Addiction is a cop out. Just another PC word to avoid responsibility and blame your own behavior on someone or something. Personal responsibility is dead in this age.

Another example of pure greed. You claim you didn't ask for the program yet you admit you sent in the card and started making the lower payments. Sounds like you asked for it to me. You just sent $500 less money every month without signing any paperwork and thought everything was gonna be fine? Two parts greed, one part stupidity.

If you could make the full payment as you admit, why would you jump at the chance to send in $500 less? Greed.

Personal responsibility is also lacking.

We don't care what he was like 5 years ago, we care what he was like yesterday when he endangered dozens of lives with his selfish criminal behavior. Being a good boy for a few years does not excuse multiple felonies across two states in a two hour time frame. He will get many years in prison, and he deserves every minute. Choices have consequences.
