Sounds as if Joe, Rory and Ireland are not phased by the comments from Eddie and the English coaches and players.! Think the Irish team ethos may be more grounded and settled.
Doesn’t appear to be any complaincy in the Irish camp and respect for the opposition.
The physical confrontation seems inevitable but hopefully we will see more ingenuity from Johnny and tries from Jacob ,Keith.. in fact anyone in green !☘️

There is no doubt this will be one of the most tightly contested Six Nations . This is hardly surprising with the World Cup just round the corner. Every team should have their best players ready and realise the added significance of this tournament given its proximity to the World Cup. Momentum is essential.
If Eddie Jones is relying on the ‘golden ticket’ to cause an upset on Saturday he will get a ride awakening. Really the only variable for Ireland is Henshaw at 15! Schmidt success is partly due to his excellent judgment on player selection. There is no reason to think that Joe has not got this one correct too .
A Welsh win tonight would create a strong platform for them and with their confidence after an impressive run they not England could be the main challenger for Ireland. Scotland have yet to prove they can win away from home .

Delighted to see this signing and possibly a few others. Obviously agreed with IRFU which is pleasing. Ulster need a stronger squad. When our international players are away we struggle! Congrats to management ✋

This is excellent news . Dwayne is a great coach and well liked in Ulster. Dan seems to have done well ...Looking forward to Roddy coming here to join the coaching team. A few more new signings will strengthen the team and give more depth.✋ .

Probably the best thing to do is watch the replay of the incident. You will see the It the Italian with the blue armband and beard come in from the side and tackle the Ulster player to bring down the maul. Nigel was right! ✋

It was pretty excruciating to watch! Ulster really missed their international players. After a great try to start there were too many mistakes. Benetton were well organised and frustrated Ulster’s attempts to break the line.! Credit to them.
Ulster made another escape in the 81 minute but on reflection they will rue the points dropped.
Billy Burns and Shanahan didn’t look themselves. Hopefully the coming rest will be good for Ulster. ✋

Hope Johnny is fit for the England game. Joey is improving all the time but it would be devastating to lose that one ! Imagine having to listen to the English media and Eddie Jones !! I’m sure that Joey will be part of that game and other Six Nation games. Clock is ticking so slowly! ☘️
