Oh hey! I was right there with you a year ago and I was freaking out too. My gyno explained that atypical cells also can be a result of a problem but also of recent menses, recent intercourse, basically anything that occurs in the vagina. So I wouldn't be surprised at all if the yeast medication or pesticide had something to do with it. I know how scary it is and I'm not gonna pretend there's a way to know for sure or to feel great about that lack of knowing. But there really are a lot of possible outcomes for this where you're totally fine, probably more than ones where you're not. I'm going in for my follow up next week so it's been on my mind a lot lately. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

Not to mention... "Becky with the good hair" is also a nod to the near-universal glorification of European hair and features, and the psychological impact that has on Black women? The idea of "good hair" dates back to slavery! It is totally in line with the themes she explores the rest of the album/movie, and only marginally relevant to the "other woman."

The Bargain Bin got me thinking about loafers like I never have before. Anyone have a favorite pair they can recommend, or more generally, what are your shoe staples? I'm not one for heels but otherwise I'm not picky!
